At St Mary's Church, Ixworth, Suffolk, on Saterday, Mr. Richard Caton, only son of Rev. Bewley Caton and Mrs. Great Fakenham, near Thetford, married Miss Helena Edith Champion Branfill, only daughter of the late Mr. Champion E. Branfill of Upminster Hall, and of Mrs Branfil of Ixworth ,

The Bridesmaids, Miss Blake, Miss Phillis Rew, Miss Beryl Rew, Miss Enid Branfill, Miss May Huddlestone Miss Olive Gelston, and Miss Una Gelson, wore white voile tunics and bodices ovewr white silk, the tunics and bodicies being trimmed with gold, and the vest and sleaves with gold net. their soft sashes were edged with gold tassels andd berries. Their orniments were gold and amethyst safety-pin broaches, and their bouquets were of a Shaded mauve fulips, the gift of the Bridgroom.

Mr Champion A. Branfill the bride's brother was the giver away and Mr Richard Cobden-Sanderson was the best man. The Hymns lead us heavenly father lead us, and perfect love . The service was fully choral.

Subsequently the bride's mother held a reception a Abbey, kindly lent Mr. ans Mrs the guests numbering about 100 Some presents were recieved these including a clock from the inhabitants of Ixworth , a silver dish and nutcrackers from the inhabitants of Fakenham and a silver mounted blotting book from the Ixworth Sunday School Trachers. The Honeymoon is being spent in Derbyshire, The brides going away dress consisted of Cloth coat and skirt trimmed with dull gold and silk embroidery to match ninon blouse over gold and chip straw hat to match, trimmed with wreath white satin and viel cherries.
