| Local; and General, Sudden Death, The Wicked Westerlies claimed a victim last week, in the person of Mr. Fancis Herbert Bates, a fine stong man, only 32 years of age. Like hundreds of others, he contracted a cold, but beyond the usual inconvenience , little notice was taken of it. With but little notice ,pleurisy set in and in a few days the strong man was no more, paasssing out at his home in Twynam Street on Sunday Last . He was buried on Tuesday , the Rev. W.E. Gordan officiating at the graveside . The case is a sad one, the deceased leaving a young wife and two children. Wood, Coffill and Co. attended to the burial. |
